by prudentVC @ 2007-09-26 - 19:05:19

LOGG5

Hi my name is Jason Hitchcock and this is my blog...

I own a company called Prudent Vehicle Contracts Ltd which has been trading and growing over the past 8 years and my blog outlines a bit about what the company does and offers and I hope you find it useful...

Prudent Vehicle Contract offer car and van lease to the whole of the UK.

We provide Business and Personal car finance on all makes and models of new vehicles.

We add new models to our comprehensive website www.companycarleasing.com on a regular basis and have recently added the new model Audi A4 and new model Renault Laguna.

Our website is quite unique as we offer over 3,500 different offers which can be searched by make model or monthly budget and our advertised rates are manually updated daily.

The website is always being developed as websited must be in this competitive internet age that we live in and the more I learn about how websites work the more I add.  I only just found out about Blogs and how they work and how you can use them to help promote your website so this is it....

The information written is my personal opinion and so if you do not agree with any of the comments then I am most definately the one to blame.

audi_a5
One of the most desirable cars this year must be the sublime Audi A5.  With its curvy good looks and the reassurability (is that a word?) that is is carefully and reliably built by Audi you know that this car is a real beastie.  Rentals are surprisingly good for this car as it is a brand new model of car and much unlike anything Audi have done in recent years, yet experts are taking the gamble that it will hold its value well in the used market in a few years time. the Audi A5 rates can be seen along with the Audi A3, Audi A4, Audi A4 Cabriolet, Audi Allroad, Audi R8, Audi TT, Audi A6, Audi A8 and Audi Q7 on our website.

bmw_3-series_coupe

BMW have had more than success with their fantastic new 3 Series Coupe which has been one of our best selling cars is the past 12 months due to high discount and high residual values making this car a very affordable option.  The BMW 3-Series has been labelled the replacement Ford Mondeo as the rentals this year have been the equavalent of what you would normally pay for a Mondeo.  It wouldn't surprise me if BMW had sold as many of these as Ford have sold Modeo's they are so popular.

To view the rates on the BMW 3 series or 1 series, 5 series,6 series or 7 series or X3 or X5 or the Z4 you can do so clicking the link to our website.

ford_mondeo
Talking of Ford Mondeo's, Ford have introduced a massively succesful replacement to the Ford family in the new Ford Mondeo which is both classy looking and competitively prices and with rentals as low as £199 per month this must be one of the bargains of the year.  Okay so its a boring Mondeo but STOP! have you seen one of these.  Ford designers have once again got it bang on!   Remember the Focus when it was launched and people were uncertain of whetehr it looked good or not, then it became the best selling and most awarded hatchback for many years well they have done it again.

You can view rates on all Ford models including the C-Max, Fiesta, Focus, Focus Cabriolet, Fusion, Galaxy, Ka, Mondeo, S-Max and StreetKa on our website.

citroen_berlingo
Citroen have once again stole the small van market with its best selling Citroen Berlingo Van.  Rates for the Berlingo usually start at around £145 per month which offers superb value for money.  The best option when leasing is to opt for the Berlingo Enterprise model as for about a quid more a month than the standard van you get the added luxury of a CD Player and electric windows (c'mon its a van a CD player is a luxury in a van!)

You can view rates on all Citroen models including the Berlingo, C Crosser, C1, C2, C3, C4, C4 Piaccso, C5, Xsara Picasso, C6 and C8 plus the commercial models Berlingo Van, Dispatch Van and Relay Van on our website.

honda_accord_saloon

Honda have offered some fantastic rates this year on the Honda Accord which is very classy mid range car with rates which have been as low as £188 per month.  The Honda Accord is great for those who are bit too snobby to drive a Mondeo but can't afford a Mercedes but for £188 a month which is the normal rate for a Skoda Fabia you cant get much better than this.

Honda model rates including the Honda Accord, CRV, Civic, FRV, Jass, Legend and S200 can be viewed on our website.

hyundai_coupe
Hyundai have a sadly too well kept little secret which is the Hyundai Coupe.  This is a fantastic very nice sports car which is often overlooked yet the rentals on what is a very well equipped car are always extremely competitive and offer a lot of motor for the money as well as good looks and lots of style.  Go to your local Hyundai dealership on Saturday and look at one, sit in it, drive it.  I am not kidding these cars are fantastic!

Contract Hire rates on all Hyundai models including Accent, Amica, Coupe, Getz, Grandeur, I30, Matrix, Santa Fe, Sonata, Terracan and Tucson can be viewed on our website.

jaguar_xf

Sorry about the picture I am sure that I can find something better to replace this with and this car really deserves a better picture.  The all new Jaguar XF is probably the best looking car available to purchase in the UK today.  This car is totally drop-dead gorgeous and we all want one!  I really want one!

The rentals are not brilliant yet but who cares if you see one you'll definately want one.

Lease rates can be viewed on the jaguar XF, X Type, S Type, XJ, XJ6, XJ8, XK and XKR can all be viewed on our website.

land_rover_range_rover_sport
One of the biggest successes and failures this year has been the gob smackingly utimate 4x4 Range Rover Sport.  The residual values on this car are awesome as demand remains at a high and the Land Rover dealers have been more generous than normal with discounts making it a great vehicle to Lease with rates levelling out at arounf £455 per month.

The downside however is that as Landrover's future balances in the wind with the possible sale of the company, production on key models has dropped considerably leaving lots of people waiting on a long line for their new cars to be built.  Dealers have been dealt a mean blow as customers are fighting to take advantage of the cheap monthly rentals but with no car allocations are unable to advise when customers may receive their cars or whether they will ever be built!

Nevertheless if you are willing to wait a few months you can grab a bargain.

We have all model of Landrover on our website to lease including Defender, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover, Discovery and Freelander.

mercedes-benz_c-class_saloon
New picture on its way..... Mercedes have wiped the smile of the face of BMW in the latter part of the year with the launch of the new faced Mercedes C Class. Although in my opinion the new face is much more like the old old face than the current face?!?.   The C Class is a long awaited rival for the BMW 3 series and is causing a stir as interest grows.  Rentals on the most desirable engine the C200CDI are available from just £299.

We have all models of Mercedes available to lease on our website including A Class, B Class, C Class, CL Class, CLK, CLS, E Class, GL Class, M Class, R Class, S Class, SL Class, SLK Class as well as all commercial models including Vito, Viano, Vaneo, and Sprinter Vans.

mini_clubman
Is this a good idea?   Mini seem to think so else they wouldn't build it but my bet is that the new Mini Clubman is not going to do too well, well not at least until there are quite a few on the road and people start to stare and say "what is that" and the more people that stop and stare the more people will want to be the ones being stopped and stared at and hence the product might snowball?  I dont think so...maybe, probably will.

Okay so everyone loves Mini's they are small, fast and fun and driving one you feel like a member of a big friendly club consisting of mini drivers, a bit like tame hells angels and you wave to other mini drivers or toot the (surprisingly loud horn for a small car) or flash headlights, a lot like VW Beetle drivers do...but what is the point of the Clubman?  Okay so its a bit longer than a regular Mini but so is any other car so whats the big deal?   Well my guess is that the Clubman will suit people who already have a Mini but have put on weight and so need more room or who have dogs and cant fit them in their current car but why else would you buy one, I dont know but I'm sure that they will sell like hot cakes anyway.

As with all makes and model the Mini lease rates can be viewed on our website.

mitsubishi_l200
Now Mitsubishi are one company that goes from strength to strength they have taken over the pickup truck market in recent years and have now launched a new version of the always popular (especially in the equestrian world) Mitsubishi Shogun.

Mitsubishi are also very genrous when it comes to fleet discount and thus leasing a Mitsubishi has always been very affordable.

All Mitsubishi model lease rates can be viewed on our website.

nissan_qashqai
Nissan's Qashqai has been a surpising success this year with sales well exceeding production and the waiting time for one months but no-one seems to be put off by this and hence Nissan have decided to put the prices up and make the most of the success. Cheeky!  For those of you who dont know how to pronounce the name of this car it is said like this "Cash Ki".  Dont know what it means but feel free to email suggestions or if you are really bored you could google it.

Lease rates for the Nissan Qashqai, 350Z, Micra, Murano, Note, Pathfinder, Patrol, Terrano and X Trail can be viewed on our website together with all commercial models including the Nissan Navara and Cabstar.

renault_clio
The Renault Clio offers amazing value for money when leased.  This year we have offered these lovely little motors for as low as £99 a month and sales are rocketing.  The key model we have been pushing is the Expression which is available in lots of different engine sizes as well as automatic and manual gearbox versions and diesel and petrol fuelled.

The Clio Expression is available from £119 per month and includes Metallic Paint, Air Conditioning and a CD player together with loads of other bits for peanuts.

Lease rates for all renault Models including the Clio, Espace, Grand scenic, Scenic, Kangoo, Laguna, Megane, Modus and weird looking Twingo, the Trafic, Kangoo Van, Master and Macott Vans also can be viewed on our website.

vauxhall_corsavauxhall_zafira
This month (September) we have been lucky enough to have a fantastic offer on the Vauxhall Corsa 1.6 Turbo SRI which we are offering from just £139.99 per month and although there is a bit of a wait due to demand at £139.99 it is well worth it.

Another nippy hatchback alternative is  the Ford Focus 2.0ST which we are offeing just £149 per month for a limited period.

All models of Vauxhall have sold very well this year with the best sellers being the Astra Sports Hatch SRI which we have been offering at £179.99 and the 7 Seat Vauxhall Zafira at £189.99.

All Vauxhall lease rates including the Vauxhall, Agila, Antara, Astra, Combo, Corsa, Meriva, Monaro, Signum, Tigra, TwinTop, Vectra and Zafira plus commercial models Vivaro, Combo, Astrvan, and Movano can be viewed on our website.

volkswagen_golf
Cant say much about Volkswagen other than they continue to produce and sell quality German cars at very affordable prices.  Sales of Volkswagen are always consistant with the exception of the Touareg which has sold much more successfully than we could have imagined this year and continues to be in high demand although the novelty is strting to wear out, perhaps that is because everyone who wanted one has now got one?

View lease rate on the VW Beetle, California, Caravelle, Eos, Fox, Golf, Golf Plus, Jetta, Passat, Phaeton, Polo, Sharan, Touareg, Touran, Transporter and Caddy on our website.

This is the first time I have written a Blog so I hope it makes good reading I will add to it when I get a chance and tell you more about other vehicles such as Alfa Romeo, Daihatsu, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Peugeot, Porsche, Proton (yes they do still exist!), Saab, Seat, Skoda, Smart, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota and Volvo when I get time.

Thanks for reading........
